4/20/2020: UPDATE: Both Secret Seconds locations are now accepting donations of housewares and furniture, 10am- 4pm every day of the week. Please bring donations to back door and ring the bell. Donations may be left at back door for a contact-free drop off.
3/27/2020: Update- Secret Seconds will not be accepting donations while the shelter-in-place order is in effect.
3/20/2020: Due to a significant decrease in sales resulting from the COVID-19 epidemic, as well as our wish to protect community health, both Secret Seconds Thrift Stores locations are temporarily closed for business, starting March 19th until further notice.
We will continue to monitor the changing economic landscape and COVID-19 situation, and we hope to open our doors again as soon as possible. For the time being, both locations will continue to accept donations of gently used clothing and household items, Tuesday- Saturday, 10am- 4pm. Our intention is to continue processing donations even while the retail space is closed. The stores rely on donations, and we hope that during these difficult times you will continue to donate to Secret Seconds.
This decision was made out of financial necessity and after careful deliberation. Secret Seconds provides crucial support to all of YWCA Missoula’s programs, and losing this revenue stream is going to significantly impact our organization’s budget. In the coming weeks and months, we will need to be creative and resourceful with our staffing and operations so that we can continue to provide services to the greatest extent possible.
Thank you to our incredible store staff, including managers Ginny Huebner and Jean Vinson, whose work ethic and commitment has remained steadfast, even during this time of great uncertainty. And thank you to the Missoula community for your continued support.
