Children who experience homelessness or grow up in violent homes often miss out on typical experiences, like learning to swim or ride a bike. We can’t erase painful memories but we can help the kids in our programs build new positive memories and experiences. One critical way that we do this is by offering enriching, trauma-informed summer and after school programs— so that kids can just be kids.
Give today and make twice the impact. The Missoula PaddleHeads are generously matching all donations through May 21st– up to $25,000– to support the youth in our programs!
These funds will help provide kids who have experienced homelessness or violence a chance to try new activities, connect with peers and mentors, and build positive memories while they stay at The Meadowlark.
