YWCA Missoula is excited to announce that applications are now open for up to five positions on our Board of Directors. Our board members play a critical role in guiding YWCA Missoula and the programs that provide safe shelter, housing support, and vital resources for families experiencing domestic and sexual violence.
Building a Board That Reflects Our Community
YWCA Missoula is committed to building a board that reflects the diversity of our community. We welcome board members of all genders and with a wide range of lived experiences who share our vision for a safer, more equitable Missoula.
What We’re Looking For
We are especially seeking candidates with expertise in social work, legal and financial sectors, communications/PR, and construction/development. At the same time, we value the unique perspectives, experiences, and skills that come from many different walks of life. If you care deeply about YWCA Missoula’s mission, we encourage you to apply.

Board Commitment
- Three-year term, beginning January 2027, with the option to renew for additional terms
- Monthly board meetings on the fourth Thursday, 4–6 PM
- Participation on at least one committee
- A willingness to support fundraising and community engagement
